Geotechnical Lead

Providing clients with in-depth investigation, testing, and analysis, our geotechnical engineers at KCI, formerly McLaren Engineering Group, perform sample collection, field and laboratory testing, and prepare detailed reports. Additionally, we evaluate the stability of natural slopes and man-made soil deposits—both on land and underwater—to assess and monitor the unique risks of each project.

Reducing Costs Through Smarter
Geotechnical Data Management

We maintains an extensive geotechnical database integrated with Google Maps, containing historical boring logs, subsurface investigation reports, and related geotechnical data from past projects. By referencing this data, our engineers can often identify existing subsurface information nearby, and develop a more comprehensive understanding of local soil and geological conditions. This resource improves efficiency, supports cost-effective design decisions, and enhances our ability to evaluate site conditions early in the project development process. The database is continually updated to ensure accurate, region-specific geotechnical information is available to support current and future projects.
