Project Experience

100+ Projects, Including:

NYC DDC / DEP Cloudburst Survey Program | Queens and Manhattan, NY

Parks

As Project Manager / Professional Land Surveyor, Sam provided land surveying services, overseeing field and office work including mobile LiDAR target setup, horizontal control, utility plan/profile, sewer inverts, survey control plans, and traverse ties, while managing schedules, budgets, team coordination, and report QC.

NYC Housing Authority Rangel Houses Renovations | Upper Harlem, NY

Building Renovation

Lead Surveyor for topographic surveying supporting renovations at eight mid-rise residential buildings (984 apartments). Sam’s team mapped grades, contours, buildings and first-floor elevations, sidewalks and site features, and extensive utility and drainage infrastructure including structures and inverts.

Rockland County Shared Use Path | Rockland County, NY

Pathway

Lead Surveyor for a 21–26 mile shared-use path, leading in-house staff and subconsultants to complete survey mapping and ROW plots. The work supports a federally funded project on a tight schedule and includes coordination within public right-of-way, permitting, and utility coordination involving agencies such as NYSDOT and NYSDEC.

O&M Port Jefferson Pier | Long Island, NY

Pier

Lead Surveyor for a drone-based topographic survey used to develop the site design base plan. The survey achieved strong vertical accuracy (generally within 1/2 contour interval or better) and produced reliable contours and mapping for design.

T. Rowe Price Headquarters – Construction Stakeout Survey | Baltimore, MD

New Construction

Project Manager providing surveying services associated with construction of a new two-tower, seven-story headquarters with a plaza and sublevel parking. Work was delivered in four phases covering survey control and layout, column line stakeout, pile stakeout and as-builts, utility stakeout (water, storm, electrical), and building stakeout including slurry wall, elevator pit, control lines, and benchmarks.

DockNYC Homeport Pier Hydrographic Survey | Staten Island, NY

Pier

Project Manager for a single-beam hydrographic survey at the USS The Sullivans Homeport Pier, covering approximately 200 feet around the pier. Work included pier deck spot elevations, and survey lines run parallel to the pier at roughly 20-foot intervals to support mapping relative to the surrounding mudline.
