Structural Framework for Steve McQueen’s Dia Chelsea Exhibit

Our Entertainment Engineering team, in collaboration with Sapsis Rigging, completed the structural framework for Steve McQueen’s exhibition at Dia Chelsea in New York City. The project involved the creation of a 23-foot-tall, 60-foot-wide freestanding goalpost truss structure to support large LED screens, a central element of McQueen’s exhibit on display until July 13, 2026. The team designed the truss, incorporating custom connections to achieve its trapezoidal shape and to ensure secure attachment to the building.
