Rings Across America – Public Display

To celebrate the opening of Tokyo 2020, Rockefeller Plaza in NYC, is a hosting ground for the “Rings Across America” tour which previously visited five cities (Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Miami, and Washington D.C.) before arriving at 30 Rock’s Channel Garden. The public display, measuring 19 feet by 9 feet atop a staging platform, was designed as a photo op for fans and visitors celebrating opening day.

To quickly get the temporary exhibit on track for installation, McLaren provided structural review, code compliance assessment, high wind action plan, expedited NYC DOB permitting services, and inspection.

The fast-paced public display was exhibited from July 22-25th.
