PSE&G Switching Station Foundation

McLaren Engineering Group provided engineering services to assess the structural capacity of the existing Sewaren-Linden-Bayway energy transmission line in Linden, New Jersey. McLaren analyzed the PSE&G switching station foundation steel pole structure tower to support the proposed relocation positions, based on current loads and additional load adjustments.

Transmission Tower Analysis And Design

McLaren provided field inspection, condition verification, design calculations and models in a comprehensive report that detailed the firm’s analysis of the structural capacity of the Sewaren-Linden-Bayway transmission line. For steel pole structure tower L-MT-1/2, McLaren provided foundation design, construction support, and resident engineering services. The foundation consists of a steel-encased, reinforced concrete caisson socketed into rock.
