Bowlero, a nationwide entertainment destination, offers bowling, arcades, laser tag, dining, and more. Spanning locations from California to New Jersey, and in collaboration with ARCADIS, our structural team has played a key role in bringing these venues to life. We’ve provided a range of services for both new bowling center developments and existing facility renovations.
Our work includes structural load rating analyses, site surveys, and existing condition assessments, as well as structural design for modifications like floor removals and mezzanine additions. We’ve also provided structural reinforcement, engineering consulting and design for architectural feature supports, hung signage, and lighting fixtures—along with construction phase support to help bring each project to life.
Notably, our team provided structural engineering consulting for Bowlero’s Lucky Strike location in Ladera Ranch, California. Our scope included consulting on the design of structural supports for bowling lanes masking walls, interior signage, lighting fixtures, and scoring monitors, as well as reviewing rooftop framing to support suspended and rooftop mounted equipment. We also designed a feature hung soffit above the bar area, performed an analysis of the proposed bowling lane assemblies, designed a raised floor system, and developed structural details for the glazed dividing walls between the bowling and arcade areas.
