Ace Hotel Stair Construction

Ace Hotel / Atelier Ace’s indoor-outdoor entryway “The Stoop”, contains a monumental stair as sleek and eclectic as the hotel itself. Beginning at the ground floor, the steel-framed, Brownstone-inspired staircase with concrete steps, zig-zags up two intermediate landings, to the building’s second level.

Working with Barone Steel Fabricators, McLaren’s construction engineering team provided structural design of the unique stair framing and connections for Ace’s Downtown Brooklyn location in Boerum Hill, at the corner of Bond and Schermerhorn.
