After a worldwide pandemic, a switch to hybrid workplaces, and the addition of many new hires, we brought together the entire team from across the country for an “egg”citing day, to our New Jersey Office.
The goal was to reconnect, recognize our strengths as individuals, and use them to build a better team by learning important ‘non-technical’ skills. The interactive team-building program began with some eye-opening individual personality assessments facilitated by Professional Coach, Laura Cooley which set the foundation for understanding how communication styles differ amongst individuals with corresponding color-based personality beads. After a food truck lunch, we moved into implementing the best of those different communication styles with a competitive egg-drop challenge! Led by facilitators from the Engineering Management Institute, Anthony Fasano and Mike Lozanoff, teams learned to incorporate each member’s communication styles and work together to brainstorm, plan, budget for, design, build, and test a superior egg holder.
Congratulations to team Egg Beaters on being crowned the overall egg drop champions, but a special congrats to the nearly 200 employees made this day a great success!
