Tower Crane Foundation Design
Our Florida engineers played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful construction of two tower crane concrete spread footing foundations used to support the development of Manor West River, a multifamily housing complex in Tampa. The design was tailored to bear the weight of the cantilevered tower cranes in combination with crane payloads and lateral forces from wind, while keeping the foundations independent from the building foundations.
The mid-rise mixed-use buildings of Manor West River span across a 120-acre site in West Tampa and will feature 322 residential units once completed.
