Manhattan College juniors had an opportunity to shadow multiple types of engineering in our Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey office this week, giving them an immersive look into what it means to be an engineer. They sampled every McLaren disciple including Structural, Marine, Civil, Geomatics, Entertainment, Bridge/Highway/Rail and Construction Engineering. They were even able to get a taste of some of our specialty disciplines like facades and geotechnical engineering.
The soon to be engineers had a glimpse into some of the exciting things taking shape here at McLaren. Our junior engineers took on the role of mentor, giving the students a firsthand look at applying the engineering concepts they learn in class to real-life projects. Thank you Moujalli Hourani, PhD, Director of Graduate Programs, Civil and Construction Management for making this happen. And thank you to our young engineers who helped make the experience impactful.
