McLaren Engineering Group completed underwater inspection services at California’s Port of Stockton, the fastest-growing industrial port in the U.S.
Our MOTEMS (Marine Oil Terminal Engineering and Maintenance Standards) team was able to assess the current condition of over 940 timber piles supporting a high-level platform and the hardware associated with an airburst system on two water pumps within this inland deep-water port located in California’s San Joaquin Valley.
McLaren’s marine engineer divers made an assessment of the conditions, detailed the required repairs, and attempted to locate missing hardware while underwater. All inspections were performed by a 3-person dive team using commercial surface-supplied diving equipment, in accordance with OSHA and ADCI requirements.
