McLaren Engineering Group worked with Hudson Scenic Studios and Hudson Theatrical Associates to prepare the Imperial Theater on Broadway in New York, NY, for the award-winning show Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812. McLaren’s team worked to ensure the show lived up to its reputation for impressing audiences with its immersive atmosphere, extraordinary set and high-caliber production quality.
McLaren engineered the front of house lighting rig, unconventional in-house and on-stage seating platforms, lobby décor and drapes that surround the audience – enabling the actors to deliver a stunning performance all the way to the balcony. McLaren has engineered many other productions in the Imperial Theater including renovations, structural restoration and theatrical infrastructure load ratings.
