Firehouses – City of Yonkers On-Call

McLaren Engineering Group was retained by the City of Yonkers, NY, to provide on-call building condition assessment services for a range of city buildings, including 12 firehouses throughout the city.

Since 2005, McLaren has provided structural condition assessments and coordination of architectural and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) assessments for a dozen different firehouses and the Fire Department Special Operations building in the City of Yonkers, NY. McLaren’s work has included the design of masonry facade repairs, structural engineering for roof replacements and engineering services to install a general exhaust ventilation and makeup air system.
