60-Foot Azimut Yacht Display in Times Square

In celebration of Azimut-Benetti’s 50th anniversary, McLaren Engineering Group helped a 60-foot yacht make its way to the heart of New York City’s Times Square Plaza. McLaren’s surveying, site / civil and structural teams collaborated to successfully “anchor” this ship, conducting a turn-by-turn analysis to get the 95,000 pound, 15 foot 8 inch wide vessel and trailer safely to Times Square.

McLaren also provided traditional survey measurements, laser scanning and load analysis of the pavers in the pedestrian plaza where the yacht was temporarily on display.
