New Ferry Services Considered for Hudson County

The Hudson County Division of Planning is conducting a study of six different proposals to add ferry service to and from the area in order to alleviate the county’s congested roads and trains. Potential sites include Newark Bay in Bayonne, the Bayfront redevelopment site on the Hackensack River in Jersey City, South Harrison (which sits upon the Passaic River), South Kearny (mostly on the Hackensack River), and locations on the Hudson River in Hoboken and West New York.
