McLaren Welcomes NYS Infrastructure Principal

Angelo Trichilo, P.E., retired Deputy Chief Engineer for the New York State Department of Transportation, joins McLaren as Principal of our Albany office. He will be bringing a proven track record of assiduous project management to the Capital Region with an emphasis on infrastructure improvements, including bridge, roadway, and railway projects.

Recipient of the 2021 Commissioner’s Distinguished Career Award, his portfolio includes large scale projects across the State including work on the Buffalo Skyway, the NYSDOT portion of the Empire State trail, 1-81, Exit 3, Woodbury Commons, Buffalo Train Station, and Orange Lot Parking Improvements for the NY State Fair.

Angelo has also served as the Acting Director for the Office of the Environment overseeing the EIS & Special Projects Bureau, the Environmental Analysis Bureau, and the Landscape Architecture Bureau.
