New York-based McLaren Engineering Group is doubling the size of its office space as it relocates to downtown Orlando and it's hiring more engineers for its team.

The new office, located at 201 N. Magnolia Ave., increases the square footage of its previous office near Universal Studios that was 1,140 square feet to 2,800 square feet.

“It’s a strategic move because we want to be close to our clients. The space downtown also is going to make it easier to attract workers thanks to the convenience of having SunRail nearby,” said Andrew Habel, head of the Orlando office.
