Tommy Hilfiger Holiday Display

McLaren worked closely with American Christmas, Inc. (a holiday decoration company) to support their design for Tommy Hilfiger’s New York City store front holiday display. The major challenge was to anchor the ornamental structure to the existing structure without causing any damage to the limestone façade. The design solution was to go behind the limestone at the motor joints, to help secure the tubing for the garland and wreaths with snap toggle anchor bolts. Light gauge frame supports were added below the ornamental structure to hold the weight of the tubing and garland. For the wreaths displayed in the windows, custom brackets were designed to fit into the existing planters and window frame. These brackets supported the weight of the wreaths and stabilized them within the window frame.
