Colosseum at Caesar's Palace - Stage Assembly

The Colisseum Theater at Caesar's Palace
Project Overview:
McLaren was retained to perform a structural engineering evaluation of proposed stage assembly for use at the Colosseum Theater at Caesar’s Palace. As shown in preliminary drawings, design loading on the stage assembly is 150 psf of distributed live load and the decks are capable of carrying a concentrated point load of 2,400 lbs anywhere on the deck. Local seismic requirements were considered with the stage assembly braced to the building structure.
McLaren's Role:
McLaren provided an assessment report concerning the proposed decks and stage assembly to support the specified design load, including, as required, specifcal requirments or limitations. Local seismic requirements were considered as the stage assembly is braced to the building structure.
