Project Overview:
A new state-of-the-art transportation, storage, and repair facility is needed to meet the Rockland County Highway Department’s operational needs, now and throughout the next 50 years. This facility will also serve as the County’s backup emergency operations center.
A 24-acre location was selected for convenient access to Rockland’s roads and highways. It is situated on the border between Clarkstown and the Village of Chestnut Ridge, in the Town of Ramapo.
