Project Overview:
McLaren is working with P.T. Maxwell, LLC on converting the former Maxwell House coffee industrial site to a planned residential mixed-use development along the Hudson River. This waterfront community is designed to preserve views and maximize open space in accordance with NJDEP’s Hudson River Waterfront Walkway (HRWW) guidelines.
The main project challenges include inspection and assessment of existing structures, stabilization of the shoreline, repair of dilapidated piers, permitting for emergency fire access and dock, maintaining view corridor, and providing access to the river.
