72 - Haverstraw Site Plan.jpg
Project Overview:
As part of the Village of Haverstraw’s Waterfront Revitalization Program, McLaren was retained to provide marine and ferry terminal design, as well as an environmental assessment. The project, to be completed in three (3) phases, will consist of a multi-purpose ferry terminal with an integrated 450 car parking structure along the Hudson River in the Lower Hudson Valley region. The ferry terminal will consist of docking space and associated piers, wharfs and bulkheads, a terminal building, internal and external lighting, and infrastructure improvements, including electric, sewerage, site drainage, and stormwater retention.
McLaren's Role:
McLaren is providing overall responsibility for the project management of this contract, quality control, coordination of the project’s design, and environmental review functions. The ferry terminal design will address a number of challenging issues such as the site’s location in the state-designated Haverstraw Bay Significant Coastal Fish & Wildlife Habitat.
