Project Overview:
McLaren was retained by the Connecticut Department of Transportation for a total of five cycles of its biennial bridge inspection program, which encompasses above and underwater inspection and assessment of bridges statewide.
The first three cycles (1993-1994, 1995-1996 and 2001-2002) totaled 280 to 360 bridges. In its last two cycles (2005-2006 and 2007-2008), McLaren is providing engineering services for above and below water bridge inspections on 534 highway bridges and over 80 culverts statewide.
