Carlos Mosely Music Pavilion

Project Overview:
McLaren was retained to design the pavilion for the summer concert tour of the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera. This portable music pavilion features a fabric superstructure and hydraulically deployed articulated masts. The stage platform is constructed of orthotropic aluminum extrusion, and is also hydraulically deployed. The structure can be erected or dismantled in five hours.
