McLaren provided engineering for the A/V fit-out for the new Arthur Ashe Stadium roof at the Billie Jean Tennis Center in Queens, New York, which is currently hosting the 2015 U.S. Open.

The Battery Conservancy SeaGlass Carousel Is Now Open

McLaren’s Vice President of Entertainment, Bill Gorlin, P.E., S.E. joined the Battery Conservancy in a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, to celebrate the completion of the SeaGlass Carousel in lower Manhattan. This $16 million project combines modern, custom designed, multi-axis ride technology with state-of-the-art multimedia projections, music and lighting. Patrons ride inside glittering and rainbow hued translucent fish, which swim, swoop and swerve through a simulated underwater environment.

McLaren Announces New National Director of Strategic Planning

McLaren is pleased to announce that Peter Melewski, PE will join our firm on August 17th as the National Director of Strategic Planning (NDSP). As NDSP, Peter will be based in our Upstate NY office, but will be spending considerable time in our offices across the nation. As NDSP, Peter will have primary responsibility for strengthening relationships with existing clients and developing new markets and clients. He will facilitate and coordinate the considerable talent at McLaren so we continue to exceed the clients' expectations.

McLaren Helped Reopen the Historic Oak Tree Road Bridge

Services included topographic and ROW surveying, geotechnical investigations, hydraulic analysis, traffic control plans, community outreach, bridge design, permitting, construction documents, construction administration, and resident engineering services.
