Schoharie County Retains McLaren for a Stream Bank Restoration Project

McLaren was retained by Schoharie County to provide construction management services for remediation work on multiple streams in the county that were damaged during Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. The remediation work will help restore the streams to pre-storm conditions and will help mitigate future flooding. McLaren newly opened Albany Office will serve this project.

Bill Gorlin Receives Above & Beyond Award

Congratulations to McLaren's Vice President and Entertainment Division Chief, Bill Gorlin, on achieving his 2016 ESTA Above & Beyond Award for his work as chair of the Task Group that wrote a new North American standard for performer flying!

New ESTA Standards Approved and Published

McLaren is honored to have contributed to the development of the first technical standard in North America for performer flying systems, which was recently approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)! McLaren's very own Bill Gorlin, Vice President of Entertainment, was the chair of the task group from the Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) Rigging Working Group who developed this standard.

McLaren was retained by the Hudson Scenic Studio, Inc., a scenic fabrication and automation company, to review and analyze all mechanical and structural components of a 60 feet tall Glockenspiel-Style Clock Tower. The Shanghai Disney Store is the largest Disney retail location in the world and the first Disney Store to have an outdoor plaza and clock tower.
