EECO III / McLaren Team Selected for NYSDOT Region 8 Bundled Bridges Design-Build Contract

The ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. (ECCO III) / McLaren Team has begun work on a $40 million New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) 6 Bundled Bridges Design-Build Contract in Region 8 (located in Westchester and Orange Counties). The contract includes one (1) bridge rehabilitation, one (1) superstructure replacement, and four (4) full replacements on existing alignment as well as highway approach design work.

McLaren is Exhibiting at the NASCC Steel Conference

Mark your calendars…McLaren will be exhibiting at the NASCC Steel Conference being held April 13th-15th in Orlando. McLaren’s very own Matthew B. Kawczenski, PE, SE is on the planning committee for the conference. He will help ensure the conference has the right experts on the topics that are relevant today.

Marine Technology Society

Robert Acker, a Junior Engineer at McLaren, has been elected Vice Chair of the Marine Technology Society - Marine Law & Policy Committee. The mission of the Marine Law and Policy Committee is to provide current information, a forum for exchange of ideas, and a resource for members on contemporary matters of marine law and policy. McLaren congratulates Mr. Acker’s accomplishment and this noteworthy industry endeavor.

TCS New York City Marathon Pavilion

The New York City Marathon takes place on November 1st, but runners and supporters alike can enjoy an entire week of activities leading up to the big race at the TCS New York City Marathon Pavilion, located next to Tavern on the Green in Central Park. The facility will host a variety of running-themed events throughout the week including runs led by the New York Road Runners, Q&A sessions with expert nutritionists and healthcare professionals, book signings, and even film screenings. There will also be a shop where runners can stock up on all of the official NYC Marathon merchandise.

Keep Rockland Beautiful Road Cleanup

As part of McLaren’s support for Keep Rockland Beautiful Adopt-A-Road program, 35 McLaren Engineering Group employees participated in the semi-annual cleanup of Snake Hill Road.
