ASCE Event Featuring James Starace

Mal McLaren welcomed the accomplished James Starace. P.E., Chief Engineer of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to the podium at last night’s ASCE LHV event. The event featured an encouraging presentation by Mr. Starace on the PANYNJ’s Capital Program, the induction of new officers, over 20 McLaren employees, and the announcement of the 2017 Engineering Expo. This is the start of a great year for the ASCE LHV Branch.

Domino Sugar Construction In-Progress

McLaren is helping develop the waterfront of the former historic Domino Sugar Refinery site into a mixed-use development in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! We are currently providing construction drawings and construction inspection marine engineering services for the reconstruction of the platform and bulkhead. McLaren Expands Special Inspections Division

McLaren Engineering Group, a full-service engineering firm, is expanding its Special Inspections Division, focusing on New York City’s bustling construction industry. This service line, which helps developers building and renovating structures in NYC, is managed by McLaren’s new Director of Special Inspections, Nicholas Bailey.
