McLaren Engineer honored at NYSSPE meeting

He has successfully managed over 10 sizeable projects ranging from theater and store renovations to architectural themeing, monitoring the project schedule and servicing the clients – all while guiding the creative process of turning concept into actuality.
The perfect way to cap it off? Billig was named “Young Engineer of the Year” by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE), Rockland County Chapter.

Kinetic Atrium at Wynn Macau unveiled

CastellanoMcLaren Engineering Group developed the preliminary engineering design of the major effects, and produced a refined technical bid specification the Wynn’s Kinetic Atrium at its hotel & casino in Macau. Subsequently, McLaren completed the engineering design of these systems in conjunction with Show Canada Industries. A McLaren representative was stationed first at the shop in Quebec and then at the site in Macau throughout construction.
McLaren helps give Times Square a facelift

CastellanoMcLaren Engineering Group worked with Oceaneering Entertainment Systems to create a dynamic multi-action billboard for Chevy, located near the top of 1 Times Square, just below the famed New Years Eve ball. Inspired by the famed Rathaus-Glockenspiel clock, two construction worker figurines emerge from their alcoves and lift the Chevy “bowtie” insignia into the air, lower it, and then return to their starting positions.
Grand Staircase Water Feature - Seminole Hard Rock
February 16, 2008 - 2:00am — J. CastellanoMcLaren helped create an exciting multi-media feature at the Grand Staircase for the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, Florida.
The Grand Staircase and adjoining visual/entertainment feature includes a cylindrical water curtain running down an acrylic surface that is used as a lighting and projection surface. The cylinder is located under, and integrated into, the stair-landing platform.
